Description: Richards Bay Harbour in Natal, South Africa, witnessed extensive dredging works where the Cutter Head Cutter Suction Dredger Beverwijk 31 was deployed. A total of nine large cutter suction dredgers and two hopper dredgers were used to move 170 million cubic meters of material. Over 70 kilometers of pipeline and five floating booster stations were required to transport the dredged material and expand the harbor.
