Description: The majestic brown bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) is at Brooks River Falls in Alaska searching for salmon. Despite the strong currents and rushing water, the bear skillfully tries to catch a salmon. During the salmon run, there is an abundance of salmon here, which the bear expertly fishes out of the water.
