The Bull Shark - Dangerous Predator of the Seas (00003153)
Description: The impressive Bull Shark (Carcharhinus leucas) moves majestically over the rocky seabed. As one of the most dangerous shark species alongside the Tiger Shark and the Great White Shark, the Bull Shark is known for its ability to survive in fresh water. Widely distributed from tropical to subtropical waters worldwide, it impresses divers with its self-confidence and low flight distance. With a length of up to 350 cm and a weight of 230 kg, the Bull Shark feeds on a variety of prey, including mollusks, rays, crabs, bony fish, and even other sharks. It is estimated that the populations of these fascinating animals have declined by 99 percent in the North Atlantic since the 1970s.
