Description: The Bull Shark (Carcharhinus leucas) is a fascinating creature that can often be found hunting for food at the shark beach of Walker's Cay, one of the northernmost Bahamas islands. These predators are usually seen in pairs, but occasionally groups of up to 20 individuals have been spotted. Alongside the Tiger Shark and the White Shark, the Bull Shark is considered one of the dangerous shark species. One of the unique features of the Bull Shark is its ability to thrive in both freshwater and saltwater environments. These versatile predators inhabit tropical and subtropical waters across the globe. Growing up to an impressive length of 350 cm and weighing around 230 kilograms, Bull Sharks are truly remarkable animals. Their diet consists of a variety of prey including mollusks, rays, crustaceans, bony fish, and even other sharks.
