Known for its bold behavior and short distance to flee, this image captures an impressive Bull Shark swimming directly towards the viewer. Alongside the Tiger Shark and the Great White Shark, Bull Sharks are considered one of the 'dangerous shark species' and have the unique ability to adapt to freshwater environments. This particular Bull Shark was photographed at Shark Beach on Walker's Cay, one of the northernmost islands of the Bahamas. Bull Sharks have a diverse diet, including mollusks, rays, crabs, bony fish, and even other sharks.
