Description: The bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas) is a fascinating yet dangerous species of shark that can be found in tropical and subtropical waters worldwide. This impressive specimen with its mouth wide open is swimming in the Shark Reef/Beqa Lagoon off the coast of Vitu Levu, Fiji. Bull sharks can grow up to 3.5 meters in length and weigh over 200 kilograms. They are known for their self-assured approach towards divers and their varied diet, which includes mollusks, rays, crustaceans, and even other sharks.
