Description: Bull Shark/Carcharhinus leucas A Bull Shark is swimming close to the seabed on the hunt at the Shark Beach of Walker´s Cay, the northernmost of the 700 Bahamas islands. These predators are usually found in pairs, but can also form larger groups. The Bull Shark, also known as the Zambezi Shark, is considered one of the dangerous shark species, alongside the Tiger Shark and the Great White Shark. A remarkable characteristic of the Bull Shark is its ability to adapt to freshwater environments. They are present in tropical and subtropical waters worldwide and exhibit a low flight distance, often approaching divers with confidence. These impressive creatures can grow up to 350 cm in length and weigh around 230 kilograms. Their diet includes mollusks, rays, crustaceans, bony fish, and even other sharks.
