Description: The Bull Shark (Carcharhinus leucas), also known as the Zambezi Shark, is one of the so-called 'dangerous sharks' along with the Tiger Shark and the Great White Shark. These sharks often inhabit shallow waters near the shore and in estuaries. One of their unique abilities is to thrive in freshwater as well. Bull Sharks can grow up to 3.5 meters in length and weigh over 200 kilograms. They are found in tropical and subtropical waters worldwide and have a low flight distance. Bull Sharks feed on mollusks, rays, crustaceans, bony fish, and other sharks.
