Impressive Bite Tools of the Great White Shark

Description: The jaw with the impressive teeth comes from a six-meter Great White Shark that was captured near Geyser Rock and Dyer Island at the beginning of the twentieth century. The largest teeth, measuring 60 mm in length, are among the most impressive in the animal kingdom. This area is home to a variety of seabirds such as African penguins and cormorants, as well as a large colony of South African fur seals. The Great White Shark, as a top predator, plays a crucial role in the ecological balance of the oceans. Despite remaining largely unchanged for millions of years, its population is severely threatened worldwide. There is a risk of humans eradicating this fascinating species.
