Powerful Great White Shark Hunting Seals off the South African Coast

Description: The Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is a fascinating and feared predator of the oceans. Off the coast of South Africa, it roams the waters around Geyser Rock and Dyer Island, home to a large colony of South African fur seals. Every winter, the great white sharks venture into this coastal region to hunt their favorite prey. The seals are well aware of the danger posed by the sharks and try to avoid encounters. However, when leaving the island, they must cross the dangerous zone where the great white sharks lurk. The high concentration of these predators in the region is due to the large seal colony.
