Description: The Great White Shark, also known as Carcharodon carcharias, is one of the most fascinating predators of the oceans. On Geyser Rock near Dyer Island, there is a large seal colony that is visited by these impressive creatures every year. Great White Sharks are feared hunters, known for their ruthless and efficient nature when hunting their favorite prey, seals. The seals are well aware of the danger and try to stay in safe waters as much as possible, as the open sea is a zone where the Great White Sharks lurk for prey.
