Description: Built in 1931, the Goetheturm in Frankfurt am Main is an impressive wooden tower with 186 steps and a height of 43 meters. It was named in honor of the 100th anniversary of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's death. As the tallest wooden tower in Germany, it offers a breathtaking panoramic view over Frankfurt. Surrounded by charming allotment gardens, the tower stands proudly on the highest point of the city forest. On clear days, the view stretches to the Taunus, Spessart, Odenwald, and Vogelsberg.
