Description: The bull shark, also known as the bull shark or common ground shark, is an impressive predator of the seas. This specimen swims head-on towards the viewer while on the hunt for food at the shark beach of Walker´s Cay, the northernmost of the 700 Bahamas islands. Bull sharks are known to also inhabit freshwater environments and can be found in various waters worldwide. They feed on a variety of prey including mollusks, rays, crabs, and other sharks. Their low flight distance and confident behavior make them fascinating but also dangerous marine creatures.
