Description: The bull shark, also known as the zambesi shark or lake nicaragua shark, is a fascinating species of shark that glides through shallow waters in search of food. This image captures a bull shark in its natural habitat off the Shark Beach of Walker's Cay, the northernmost of the Bahamas islands. Bull sharks are often seen in pairs, but occasionally groups of up to 20 individuals can be spotted. These robust predators are among the most dangerous shark species and can even survive in freshwater. They inhabit tropical and subtropical waters worldwide, feeding on a variety of prey including mollusks, rays, and even other sharks.
