Stormy Sea at the Southern Tip of Africa

Description: The stormy sea at the southern tip of Africa is notorious for sudden gale-force storms with high waves. During my many visits to this coastline, I have encountered storms with wave heights of up to eight meters. Sometimes, I had to wait for up to 10 days until the storm subsided to safely navigate the waters. The waters around Cape Agulhas are incredibly rich in fish, but due to the rugged coastline and numerous reefs, the area is considered treacherous for maritime activities. Since the 17th century, it is said that 140 sunken ships lie in the 'Graveyard of Ships' here.
