Stormy Sea at the Southern Tip of Africa

Description: The stormy sea at the southern tip of Africa is notorious for sudden gale-force storms with high waves. During many visits, storms with waves as high as eight meters have been encountered. Sometimes, a wait of up to 10 days was necessary until the storm subsided and an excursion was possible. The waters around Cape Agulhas are extremely rich in fish, but due to the inhospitable coastline with many reefs, they are also very dangerous for navigation. Alone here, in the 'Graveyard of Ships', it is said that over 140 sunken ships have rested since the 17th century.
