Description: The Southern Tip of Africa, known for sudden gale-force storms and high waves, is a fascinating yet perilous natural phenomenon. Here, at Cape Agulhas, I have personally witnessed storms with wave heights of up to eight meters. At times, I had to wait for days until the weather calmed down and excursions were possible again. The waters around Cape Agulhas are teeming with fish, but also notorious for their many reefs that pose a danger to navigation. Since the 17th century, more than 140 ships are said to have sunk here, in the so-called 'Graveyard of Ships'. Immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the southernmost point of Africa!
