Majestic Giant Trevally in Impressive School of Fish in front of Shark Reef in Fiji (00017723)
Description: The Giant Trevally, also known as the Caranx ignobilis or simply GT, is a formidable predator found in the waters of Fiji. Reaching lengths of up to 170 cm, these fish are revered for their strength and speed. Typically inhabiting depths between 10 to 40 meters, they can be seen either solitary, in pairs, or in small schools. Of particular interest is their behavior during 'shark feeding' at Shark Reef, where they eagerly emerge to feed on the leftovers.
