Description: The rainforest at Navua River on Viti Levu, Fiji, covers approximately 40 percent of the island's surface, especially prevalent on the rain-rich southeastern side. Here, a variety of plant species thrive, including orchids, hibiscus, bamboo, ferns, mangroves, and palms. The rainforest is a unique habitat with no unused niches. It is the most biologically complex place on earth, housing the majority of all climbing plants.
