Young Great White Shark Exploring the Ocean

Description: The young Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is exploring the ocean near Gansbaai and Dyer Island in the Western Cape, South Africa. Great White Sharks, also known as White Sharks, are already 1.10 to 1.60 meters long at birth and self-sufficient. They feed on smaller fish and squids. Pups are cautious and quickly disappear when adult sharks appear. Only a few pups reach adulthood and become majestic predators of the oceans.
