Baby Great White Shark

Description: The Baby Great White Shark, scientifically known as Carcharodon carcharias, moves cautiously in the vast ocean. This few days old pup, measuring 1.10 to 1.50 meters in length, already exhibits the full development of an adult shark. It swims close to the water surface and feeds on small fish and squids. Great White Sharks are independent from birth and are wary of adult sharks. Only a few of these pups reach adulthood.
