Description: The Midway Atoll rises majestically in the North Pacific, 1200 miles northwest of Honolulu. During an unforgettable stay in July 2001, I explored the lagoons of this remote paradise on a daily basis. The clear water played with the colors of the rainbow, from turquoise to green to blue. The view of the green island with its white sandy beach and the bright blue sky is a perfect South Sea idyll.
