Description: The southern tip of Africa, also known as the Cape of Needles, is a place of awe-inspiring beauty with its stormy sea. Here at the southern tip, different ocean currents collide, leading to sudden storms in hurricane force with high waves. During my stay, I witnessed impressive wave heights of up to eight meters. The waters around Cape Agulhas are famous for their abundance of fish and infamous for their dangerous reefs, making this coastline a challenging area for shipping.
