Description: The majestic brown bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) roams the wilderness of Alaska in search of food. In late fall, surrounded by the vibrant colors of the foliage and the icy waters of the Brooks River waterfall, he desperately tries to capture the last remnants of the 'salmon run'. Nature reveals itself in all its glory as the bear persistently searches for dead salmon to prepare for the long and harsh winter ahead.
