Bull Shark on the Prowl with Underwater Photographer

Description: The bull shark, also known as Carcharhinus leucas, is on the prowl at the shark beach of Walker's Cay, the northernmost of the 700 Bahamas islands. A fearless underwater photographer attempts to capture stunning shots in the murky waters. These dangerous predators are usually found in pairs, but there have been sightings of groups of up to 20 individuals. The bull shark, capable of surviving in freshwater, is a stout heavyweight that inhabits tropical and subtropical waters worldwide. With a short flight distance, they boldly swim towards divers. These predators feed on a variety of prey including mollusks, rays, crustaceans, bony fish, and even other sharks.
