Description: The Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is a fascinating and feared predator of the seas. Especially near the Geyser Rock off Dyer Island in South Africa, where a large seal colony resides, it is frequently spotted. Every winter, the large Great White Sharks arrive in this coastal region to hunt their favorite prey. The seals are aware of the danger and try to avoid encounters with the sharks. However, when they venture into the open sea, they must navigate through a hazardous zone where the Great Whites lurk. The high concentration of predators is due to the seal colony, which serves as a vital food source for the sharks.
