Description: The Great White shark, scientifically known as Carcharodon carcharias, is one of the most fascinating marine creatures in the world. This majestic animal is reflecting on the calm water surface, while residing near Geyser Rock island off the coast of Dyer Island. There is a large seal colony in this area, making it a popular hunting ground for the Great Whites. The seals are well aware of the danger posed by these predators and try to stay out of harm's way.
