Description: The Japan Center in Frankfurt is an architectural highlight of the city. The 29-story skyscraper with a 2100 sqm office space reaches a height of 114 meters. It was completed in September 1996 after a construction period of 2.5 years. The building, constructed in the Far Eastern style, resembles a traditional stone lantern found in the gardens and temples of the Far East. The tower's facade is adorned with silver-gray nails and the overhanging roof is illuminated from below at night.
