Description: The Baby Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is seen moving six sea miles off the coast of Gansbaai near Dyer Island and Gyser Rock. These pups are fully developed at birth and have to fend for themselves right from the start. Their diet mainly consists of small fish and squids. Despite their caution, they are always wary of adult sharks. Only a few manage to reach adulthood.
