Description: The Great White Shark, scientifically known as Carcharodon carcharias, is a fascinating predatory fish that inhabits the world's oceans. This juvenile Great White Shark, only a few days old, was spotted off the coast of Gansbaai in South Africa. These young sharks are already fully developed at birth, measuring about 1.10 to 1.60 meters. They feed on small fish and squids. This baby specimen is cautious and disappears when an adult shark appears. Only a few pups make it to adulthood.
