Small White Shark searching for food before Dyer Island (00010609)
Description: The Baby Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is only a few days old and swims six sea miles off the coast of Gansbaai near Dyer Island and Gyser Rock. Great White Sharks are fully developed at birth and feed on small fish and squids. Pups are cautious and flee when an adult shark appears. Only a few make it to adulthood.
