The Cape Cobra is known for its impressive body length of up to 1.60 meters and its varied coloration ranging from yellow to dark speckles. Its habitat mainly consists of dry, rocky areas and sandy riverbanks. When threatened, it displays an imposing threat display, but it can also deliver a venomous bite without warning.
