Description: The Silvertip shark, also known as Carcharhinus albimarginatus, is distinguished by its white fin tips and edges. With an average length of 200 cm to 250 cm and a maximum length of 300 cm, this shark mainly feeds on fish and rays. It inhabits waters from the surface down to depths of about 800 m. Encounter this impressive predator at the Shark Reef in the Beqa Lagoon in Fiji, where its dark grey back coloration and white belly are a sight to behold.
