Description: The whitetip reef shark (Triaenodon obesus) is a fascinating species of shark found in the waters of Fiji. With a maximum length of about 200 cm and a grey-brown coloration, it is easily recognizable. The white tips on its first dorsal fin and caudal fin are particularly striking. These sharks primarily feed on bony fish living on the reef and are a captivating subject for underwater photographers.
