Description: The Blacktip reef shark, also known as Carcharhinus melanopterus, is a fascinating creature of the oceans. With a maximum length of 160 cm and its grey-brown coloration, it presents an impressive sight. All fins of the Blacktip reef shark are adorned with a distinctive black tip, enhancing its elegance. Particularly striking is the black margin on its tail fin. This species of shark prefers the tidal zone and can also be found in shallow waters. A common sight at the Shark Reef, where it glides majestically over the coral reefs.
