Description: The cutter suction dredger Beverwijk 31 is an impressive vessel that was used during the construction of Richards Bay Harbor in Natal, South Africa. This engineering marvel is reflected majestically in the calm waters of the harbor as it operates with its powerful machinery. Nine of these massive ships were deployed to carry out the extensive dredging work, with over 70 kilometers of pipelines and five floating intermediate pump stations required for transporting the dredged material.
