Description: Extensive dredging work was required for the construction of Richards Bay Harbour. The cutter-suction dredger Tramontane was one of nine large dredgers deployed. Over 70 kilometers of pipeline and five floating intermediate pump stations were needed to excavate a total of 170 million cubic meters.
