Description: The relaxed female Barbary lion is basking in the warm African sun. The Barbary lion, also known as the Atlas lion, was a majestic animal that once roamed the Atlas Mountains. Sadly, it became extinct in the wild in 1910. However, there are still a few individuals found in zoos and conservation centers. These fascinating creatures are a symbol of strength and grace.
