Description: The King Cheetah, also known as Acinonyx jubatus, is a majestic predator that is almost extinct in Asia and highly endangered in Africa. With its long legs, the cheetah is the fastest land animal in the world. The rare King Cheetah specimen is distinguished by larger black spots that sometimes merge into stripes compared to its spotted counterpart. Visit the Hoedspruit Research & Breeding Centre at the Kapama Private Game Reserve, where bred and rescued cheetahs are cared for and later reintroduced into the wild.
