This fascinating species, belonging to the Balaenidae family, is renowned for its impressive size of up to 18 meters. Southern Right Whales primarily feed on krill and other small crustaceans, inhabiting the waters around the South Pole and regions like South Africa, South America, and New Zealand. Unfortunately, they have been severely depleted due to extensive hunting, leaving only a few surviving individuals.
