Description: The Southern Right Whale, also known as Southern Right Whale, is a fascinating member of the Balaenidae family. These majestic marine creatures can reach lengths of up to 18 meters and are mainly found in the waters around the South Pole. They feed on krill and other small crustaceans and are also sighted in regions like South Africa, South America, and New Zealand. Unfortunately, they have been severely decimated due to past hunting practices, and today, only a few of these impressive animals remain.
