Adorable Baby Cheetah Exploring the Wilderness

Description: The baby cheetah, also known as Acinonyx jubatus, bravely explores the wilderness. This seven-week-old cheetah is being nurtured in a private breeding station near Addo Elephant Park in South Africa, with the intention of releasing it back into the wild. As the fastest land mammal, the cheetah can reach speeds of up to 120 km/h. Unfortunately, the population of wild cheetahs has drastically declined, mainly due to habitat loss, poaching for zoos, and the illegal trade of their skins. Additionally, cheetahs face threats from conflicts with farmers and livestock owners, who often perceive them as a threat to their herds and resort to killing them.
