Discovered on a remote mountainside in the Overberg Fynbos area, the Cape Cobra showcases its beauty. With a length of up to 1.60 meters and a distinctive head, it is a truly impressive creature. Its yellow, red, or black coloration as well as its speckled variety make it a captivating sight. The Cape Cobra inhabits dry, rocky areas and displays an impressive threat display when provoked. Its venom is among the most potent snake venoms in Africa and can lead to death within minutes.
