Description: The silvertip shark (Carcharhinus albimarginatus) is a fascinating inhabitant of the seas, known for its white-tipped fins. These sharks can reach a length of up to 300 cm and mainly feed on fish and rays. They can be found at depths ranging from the surface to 800 m. Especially at the Shark Reef in the Beqa Lagoon in Fiji, divers can admire these impressive creatures with their dark grey backs and white bellies.
